MAS 49-56 Marksman Sniper Rifle with EXTRAS

I am selling off one of the crown jewels of my collection. A French MAS 49-56 rifle in 7.5 French for designated marksman / sniper.
The rifle comes with the correct APX 3.8x scope with carrying case and adjustment tool.
I am also including 8 magazines, the cleaning kit, spare parts kit, butt pad, sling, night luminescent sight, copies of the original French Army manuals for the scope and rifle, and a copy of the chapter from Proud Promise the collectors book on MAS rifles from Jean Huon. You have all the necessary information on the rifle and its scope with those documents. In addition I have a second custom firing pin from Murrays Gunsmithing that goes with the rifle, which you will need for firing rounds with soft primers. Otherwise you may get slam fires with reloads or PRVI ammo. I will NOT sell this firing pin separately.

Everything is in Excellent to near Mint condition. The rifle was arsenal refurbished and a new barrel put on in 1983. It likely got no use until it was surplused.
The scope is clear. The rifle is accurate and a pleasure to shoot and display. Taking it out on the range always draws a crowd. Ian McCollum from Forgotten Weapons and a French rifle fan has said "The French copied no one, and nobody copied the French". He is 100% correct with that statement, you will never see another battle rifle like the MAS 49-56, and never will!

Since there is a lot with this kit I do prefer a F2F transaction and will drive up to 2hours from Ottawa to meet any buyer. Otherwise it will be shipped at your expense and preferred method.
