THIS RIFLE IS ON HOLD...
Hi folks, a de-sporterized SMLE, which won't cost you an arm and a leg. Serial numbers don't match, some DP parts used, but (contrary to some others...), I am clearly mentioning this important information :)
The barreled action is Australian and dated 1942. The bore is good. The forend bedding is good and other parts are correctly fitted. Headspace is good (measured with proper headspace gauges). The rifle feeds and extracts correctly. This rifle was test fired for function.
