Very Decent old marlin 1893 38/55 RB FM . Bore is very shootable . Darkish between lands but high and continuous . Marked Black Powder but my experience is not an issue with full lead bullets and sensible loads . Your choice . Finish is basically grey plum brown .
Has a small toe crack either side , has been repaired and solid .
Unusual metal marlin logo buttplate . NO evidence of it being a replacement as it fits perfectly and no extra holes in wood under the plate .
