1936 Vintage 22” EG No checkering 250/3000 cal . Excellent bore and mechanics . Metal is clean with a good amount of original blue and case colours on the lever . Some staining on breach block and a couple of non factory add ons . DT’d for scope base and sling mounts . They actually used the proper mount for the forend !!! Comes w bases and rings . Filler in rear dovetail . The wood is very sound one tiny tang crack typical of 99’s but very small .The wood has been sanded slightly and a coat of varnish applied . The PG cap has been cracked at one time and repaired . Bubba screwed the pooch drilling rear DT’s but the mount is on rock solid . Being sold as a great shooter w the savage nostalgic lines . Plain 22” EG’s actually are not that common .
