Offering a beautiful Rare, early-production 1950 Russian SKS manufactured at the historic Tula Arms Plant. This rifle is a fantastic piece of military history and is highly desirable among SKS enthusiasts. 

Because it is a true 1950 model, it features a spring-loaded firing pin. The Soviet military actually removed the spring in late 1951 to cut costs, making the 1949–1950 variants UNIQUE and safer against "slam-fires" caused by modern commercial primers.

Condition & Features:

• Caliber: 7.62x39mm
• Stock: Original solid birch hardwood stock with a very strong, distinct Tula star cartouche.
• Metal Finish: Deep, clean arsenal bluing in excellent shape. The bore is bright with sharp rifling.

• Serial Number: ЮГ 1829
• Status: Matching numbers are crisp across the primary metal components (receiver, bolt carrier, top cover, and trigger guard). The stock shows standard, neat Soviet arsenal X-out marks from its historical refurbishment before being stamped to match this rifle.
• Note: The magazine floor plate is the only non-matching component, which is very common for these depot-refurbished Soviet surplus packages.
• Magazine Capacity: Legally pinned to 5 rounds per Canadian regulations.
