Russian capture German K98 mauser in good condition, with intact markings and wartime wear and tear showing clear evidence of front-line use. This K98 was manufactured in 1941, and is marked with the code DUV, indicating that it was made at Berliner-Lübecker Maschinenfabrik in Lübeck. All of the original markings including the eagles/Waffenamt markings are fully intact and have not been punched or ground off. This rifle was re-arseneled by the USSR following the end of WWII, and was eventually sold off as surplus.
This rifle is almost certain to have seen front-line combat on the Eastern Front during WWII. This is evident from the fact that this rifle was captured sometime between 1941 and 1945 by the Red Army, and that the stock and metal components show the expected kind of wear for a rifle that was carried and used in active service. The bore is in good condition, with strong rifling, and the action is in good working order and is mechanically sound. This rifle has been inspected and test fired with no issues.
Original German leather ammo pouches and a Russian oil can will be included. We will also include a free trigger lock and gun sock.
