Hello everyone, it's time to clean out my gun safe. 

general condition good , Gewehr 88 Sporter made by V. Christian Schilling in Suhl, Prussia, circa 1910. 

24" sporter weight blued octagon-to-round Krupp steel barrel with fully matted raised sighting rib and ramped front sight with 2-leaf folding rear sight.

rifle stock, as shown in the photos, has been repaired because it broke a long time ago. The repair dates back more than half a century.

The barrel rifling is good.
