Remington Model 14 Pump action, by serial number, manufactured in 1914. Chambered in 44-40, stamped 44 REM or 44 WCF. Gun is in very good condition for 111 years old, rifling still clear and clean. Stamped "C" which should mean it is the "Special" version.
Both forestock and buttstock appear original but there is a crack on the buttstock where it appears the butt plate was replaced at some point and the screws used to mount likely were too big and there is a crack on the bottom of the butt. Bluing would be around 75% with most wear showing on the mag tube and muzzle. There are some fine scratches on left side of the receiver, look to be storeage marks of some kind.
Very nice collectible shooter to own, display or shoot.
