It's like every other Carcano carbine but it has a rail on it and I can guarantee it's been fired recently and not exploded. The bayonet mount has been ground off to make this light and handy rifle even lighter and handier. The rail is securely mounted where the rear sight would normally go and holds zero very well. I shot it with a red dot on it and that's a lot of fun as a fireball generator - you could also do a scout scope, I'm sure.
