This rifle is 107yrs old all original blue and has the brass rotary cartridge counter that works flawlessly, no cracks or holes in the wood, has an excellent bore, factory checkering, pistol grip with cap, takedown, case colours still present on areas, and of particular interest it’s a 1899/99 Transition model sought after by Savage and firearm collectors alike. The 250-3000 is the first commercial cartridge to break the magical 3,000 fps (feet per second) muzzle velocity threshold using a 87-grain bullet. Priced reasonably at $1600.
