At its core, the Chimera features an 18.5-inch barrel with a fast 1:8 twist rate, optimized for stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights. The barrel is threaded at 1/2x28 and comes pre-installed with a muzzle brake to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots.
