Heckler & Koch (HK) 770 in 308 Win

Heckler & Koch (HK) Model 770 in 308 Winchester. Serial #00953 - Manufactured in 1978.  

Confirmed with RCMP and Firearms Reference Number (FRN): 52596 (page 43375 of 107921) the rifle is classified as NON-RESTRICTED.

Gun has 2 clips. 1 x 3 shot clip and 1 x 10 shot clip that has been pinned (has 1 rivet) to 3 shots.

Comes with original HK Factory Claw Quick Removable Scope Mount with 1” rings and Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9X36 with duplex reticle that was manufactured in Germany. Scope tube has marks from being previously mounted, but I do not know on what or from what. Scope has good clarity.

Number of rounds fired is unknown as it was used when I purchased it. Shot a mule deer doe at 125 yards with it. The rule is… once a gun kills something… it goes in the safe. Have owned the gun for approximately 18 years.  Heads up... It throws empty brass a LONG ways and likes to bang up the neck!  Very typical for HKs.

Selling because have WAY too many “toys” and need to start thinning the herd as wife and I talk about moving to a condo. Also have a HK 940 in 30-06 that I am selling and could do a combo deal. See other ads (This is my first ad of a planned few - lol). Please… No low-ball offers! I spend way too much time here looking, dealing and buying on guns. I am not a dealer just a guy who has an addiction problem – according to the ANNOYING wife!!

Price may seem high but the guns themselves without mount or extra clip are/were (as you can’t find any for sale) selling for $3,000-$3,250. Original HK scope mount is worth $600-$750, extra clip is worth $250-$300 and scope is worth $400-$500.
