This K98k Mauser is a Russian Capture rifle that underwent Soviet post-war refurbishment. It features a BCD 42 marked receiver produced by Gustloff-Werke and a BYS 43 marked barrel manufactured at the Radom factory—both well-documented wartime producers.

• Receiver marked BCD 42, produced by Gustloff-Werke, one of Germany’s major arms factories.
• Barrel marked BYS 43, manufactured at the Radom plant, well known for high-quality machining during wartime.
• All matching numbers on receiver, bolt, stock, and magazine plate. Bolt and magazine plate numberings are pencil-scribed, consistent with a standard RC arsenal practice.
• Rifle is in good+ overall condition, showing proper wartime finish and handling wear.
