Maynard 1873 Model #14 40/60 Target Rifle

Maynard 1873 Model #14 40/60 Cal Target rifle in nice condition with great vintage patina.

Comes with dies and 26 cases which 10 are loaded also included are 

10 adapters to allow use of 303 brass in this rifle.

30 inch barrel has very good rifling better then you would expect for a gun of this age

so obviously was cared for by previous owners.

Sorry about the photos they do not show bore as nice as it actually is.

Wood is quite fancy and is solid.

Mechanics work properly and lock functions correctly.

I have not fired this rifle it came from a friends estate but he was shooting it and 

 made up the brass and adapters.
