NB: The three full length rifles are now sold. Carbine length are $375 each.
These are some No.4 projects I've worked on over the last few years. They don't excite me like they used to so I'd like to move them on as a lot. Woodwork has gone elsewhere, so can't help you there, but it's all out there as we know, both original and repro.
The barrels are all VG to EXC, the receivers have been carefully cleaned up and all the sharp edges etc. removed by hand, then they were glass beaded and parkerized and painted. Mags carefully cleaned up as well.
Head space was set to just close over the GO gauge and bolt heads selected for minimal overturn.
Built using barrels that were either cut when found or had damage at the muzzle that made cutting the only option, but are 1950s barrels in exc. shape.
Not worth the trouble taken to build these if the bbls. were not excellent.
The jungle carbine barreled action is only suitable for a display or deact build MHO: barrel is heavily pitted: $50.
