Carl Gustafs target rifle (project)

Beautiful vintage .308 target rifle made by Carl Gustafs in 1918. Mauser 96 action I think. Slow rifling twist great for lighter bullets.

Blueing is almost perfect except for a little spot on the left side of the chamber (see pictures). Minor dings on the wood.

I was going to try to fit a scope on it but it's been in the safe for over 20 years so I guess it won't happen. Lol. 

No rear sight nor front post (hood is there but is empty), hence the price. No top wooden handguard either.

Couldn't take a decent picture of the barrel but it's mirror and shiny.
