Swiss Vetterli 1896/71 .41 Swiss

Selling/trading a Swiss Vetterli 1869/71 in .41 Swiss (10.4x38 or .41 Rimfire). Overall it's in good shape. 33" barrel. Steel has turned to a dark patina and shows well, no major rust or pitting. Wood stocks are in good shape, show normal wear and tear for its age. Bore is dark and shows wear, would most likely clean up a bit better with some elbow grease. Action is very sticky, looks to have sat for many years. The floor plate needs to be manually helped along to rack the action - I assume it'll need a good thorough deep cleaning. Butt plate is not original and ill fitted. No cleaning rod. Would make a great restoration project. Given its age and overall condition it will be sold as is with no warranty or guarantees.
