Looking to sell my Marlin Model 30AS 30-30. Its a 1983 model, JM stamped barrel. Bought is as an impulse purchase, don't think I'll shoot it much.
Comes with a Ruko 3-9x40mm scope, rings, and rail mount. When I got it, the scope was mounted so the rail was hitting into the zone adjustment collar of the scope. As a result, the collar is a bit rough to turn between 5x and 6x zoom. Otherwise, the scope is fine, holds zero, and adjusts fine for the small amount of shooting I've done. The head of the screws on the mounts are a bit rough. you probably wouldn't be able to retighten them if you took them off, but there on tight currently.
The overall condition of the gun is good. The wood is nearly perfect, but there was a bit of surface rust on the receiver. I removed it somewhat with steel wool, but it can still be seen up close.
