Built by P Webley & Sons London for the Army & Navy Cooperative, a beautiful best quality sxs 12 gauge sidelock , 12 gauge non ejector, Damascus barrels ( 3 blade crolle) mirror bores. One choked open cyl one modified, barrels ring like a chime, actio. Is tight as a bank vault. ..wood is fabulous cond.high grade stump grain english walnut, checkering is ex and original. 2 3/4" chambers.
Straight gripped, lightweight 6 3/4lbs barrels are 27.5" length, upland bird gun, points beautifully, zero cracks in wood. Orig metal but plate. Bluing is in great cond. Receiver was blued not case colored.engraved receiver, Barrel patterns are very vivid, this is a very well made gun from a prolific london maker..P Webley & Sons is the pre cursor to Webley & Scott...so...some pedigree there. Gun built late 1880s to early 1890s. Asking 2600$. Will ship on buyers dime. Valid PAL please. Gun was fored with black powder/pyrodex loads and light smokeless loads...and shot very very well.
