Looking to sell my Remington no9 shotgun in 16ga.
These shotguns have an interesting history, being Remingtons attempt to compete with cheap Belgian shotguns that flooded the US market back in the late 1800s. Originally selling for around $10, where as the Belgian made guns usually sold for around $7, but the Remington name was worth the extra cash.
The lever on the side is an extension of the hammer, and can be used to cock/decock the gun. The lever on the top works as normal to open the gun for loading and unloading.
The first model, the No3 has an extractor, and a push button take down, where as the No9 has an ejector and a pin style take down.
These are hard to find in decent condition, and will make a great addition to any collection.
