Helice Elite.
Very hard to find in North America SxS shotgun, made by Berthon Frères, St-Étienne in the 1920’s. Numbers matching.
It is in 12ga x 2 1/2 inch. So don’t shoot 2 3/4 shells with this!
705mm barrels (approx 27 1/2 inch) I don’t know about the chokes.
Some makers like Federal and Challenger make 1 3/4 shells that will be perfect for this shotgun.
I have not fired the shotgun, previous owner told me it shoots well.
Tight action, excellent mechanic condition.
The metal shows patina and some mild pitting, bores and chambers are in very good/excellent condition.
Wood is in good condition, no cracks, has some chips/marks you can see in the pictures.
The recoil pad is nicely fitted, must have been there for many decades (maybe original?), very old French pad in very good condition, has a crack in rubber near the bottom end.
Very old leather sling included, very good condition too.
Selling because I have a lot of firearms and need to make room and budget for some other models I want more.
