Perazzi Grand America 2 - 12 gauge O/U (final - and only reduction)

Perazzi Grand America 2 - (12 gauge) O/U shotgun…based on the MX8 action, which is of very high repute. This is a two barrel set combo, comprising the over under set, plus the unsingle barrel. This is the model where the trigger group can be removed from the action and put back at will.

Included is a set of Perazzi chokes and installation tool, a spare complete trigger group, (check out just how much the trigger group alone goes for on the market!) - plus a full set of trigger group (and action) leaf springs..these are the easily installed leaf springs. This alone is SERIOUS spare parts…coil springs last longer, (stronger?) but are difficult to replace…mind you, we are talking about genuine Perazzi tiggers and springs! 
Everything has matching serial numbers on the furniture and the barrels etc. Barrel length on the unsingle is 33.5” and the over under barrel set is 31.5”. Both have vent ribs with two beads. Real Impressive gun. Comes in its original fitted case with necessary accessories.

These are NOT your cheap shotguns…check out Wikipedia which states Perazzi shotguns up to $440,000.00!! Some have fired thousands of rounds and one is known to have fired over 2 million rounds and only needed basic maintenance, so these are also well made.

This shotgun has been used in competitions and its original owner won trophies with it. The shotgun is fully functional…it has been used and evidently used with enthusiasm as it has a number of purely cosmetic issues; such as lumps and bumps and scratches even a crack on the stock and it caused a tiny chip to break off too, see pics…however these are built to last and if an individual chose to, he/she could do the simple repair and the blueing touch up perfectly well themselves - all Perazzi’s are refurbishable - if this was the chosen route..(wouldn’t send it back to Perazzi though, as that would no doubt result in superb!! results, but would be VERY costly - whereas a gifted local smith could do the same for way, way, way less)…the crack, btw, has NOT moved. The fitted case could tell a few stories too…!

These shotguns are balanced so that the action is low profile and weighted to be just a tad heavy just ahead of the hinge, which permits fast swinging and causes less felt recoil.
