Vintage Gewa bolt-action shotgun. Very old firearm, has not been test-fired by me. Action cycles, but if you intend to shoot it, I recommend having it inspected by a gunsmith first. Great for collectors or as a display piece.

This vintage Gewa bolt-action shotgun is a product of the post–WWI era, when restrictions from the Treaty of Versailles limited German arms makers from producing military rifles, leading many factories to turn out affordable sporting shotguns instead. Built with the rugged simplicity of a rifle-style bolt action, these guns were exported under trade names like “Gewa” and became popular in Canada and North America as reliable, no-frills hunting tools.
