East German National People's Army 'Strichmuster/Strichtarn' Camo Field Tunic

This field tunic is in the 2nd pattern of 'Strichmuster/Strichtarn' camouflage pattern adopted by the East German National People's Army in 1967 and used until the dissolution of East Germany in 1990.

It is in very good condition with all buttons present. The height is approximately 30 inches, the chest is approximately 40 inches, and the arm length from armpit to cuff is approximately 19.5 inches. There is a white manufacturer's tag on the inside of the back of the collar that reads 'g 48'. The field jacket features a 5-button fly with storm flap, adjustable 2-button cuffs, 2 chest pockets with 2-button flaps, an upper arm pocket with 2-button flap on each arm, a left interior breast pocket, 4 ventilation holes under each armpit, & 4 small foliage attachment loops (one on each shoulder & one on each upper arm). Also, the inside of the collar has 5 buttons for attachment of a hood. There is a small repair on the right shoulder.
