well,as mentioned by a couple buyers below,after buying a rifle described as mint from Chris,and seeing a problem with it when i got it,
i messaged him many times to see what he had to say,but like the others below,i could not get a response from him.and after confirming that he has been on here every day since i started sending him messages.i have conclude that he doesn't want anything to do with the buyer after the sale is done,
a mint condition rifle should NOT have engraved sin numbers on the receiver and trigger guard,that's a pretty big deal to a collector,and SHOULD have been disclosed,instead of having it covered over with sharpie marker.THIS should have been dissclosed.
now i'm looking at having the receiver re-blued to make it mint like he mentioned,and yes,this thing is worth it,
dont get me wrong,Chris was great to talk to on the phone,and really sold me on how mint this rifle was,but NEVER disclosed trhe engraved SIN numbers.
which would have obviously affected my decision,
i tried very hard to connect with him on here,but no replies whatsoever,to me messages.completely ignores the buyer once the sale is done.

Chris has been a gentleman. Answered any and all questions I have had, initially worked with my on the price of his rifle he had for sale (which was great). Might I also add that the packaging of the rifle was exceptional. Prompt shipping and good communication. Skip forward, received the rifle sooner than anticipated by canada post (great) unpacked rifle discovered an issue that was unknown to me as wasn't in the add but the seller (Chris) also did not know about. He went above and beyond and straightened things up, I have nothing bad to say about this seller. I would deal with again, great guy. 5 stars.
I have to say that my experience dealing with Chris was just fine, in spite of what others may have found. He sold me a scope that was just what he said it was, communications and the price were very good, and he shipped it promptly and packaged it securely.
I bought a rifle from him that he claimed, “it’s absolutely mint new condition, with scope, rings.” When I got the firearm I noticed someone had tightened the rings so tight that there was an imprint of the rings where they had actually squished into the tube of the scope. When I asked him about it, all he could say is that it was perfectly fine, which of course it wasn’t. As Adam Sorace mentioned in his recent review, getting a response after the sale was like pulling teeth. When I mentioned that I wish he had just been honest, he just stopped responding. The gun “seems”ok but based on my experience with the scope, he can’t be trusted. Even when I asked him if it was sighted in, I had to bug him for an answer and when he did respond it was a lie. I’m not sure about all the other reviews or what’s been happening recently but unfortunately, I agree with Adam - no accountability.
Please be weary. I bought a mosberg 500 off Chris and he sold it to me with a choke stuck in the barrel. Willing sold it to me knowing that and lied about it. Tried calling and texting and got no response. Lack of accountability from Chris.
