Thought I would have been posting a good review for this individual. However that turned out quickly to not be the case…
Seller had agreed upon a deal I drove directly to him and he then decided to back out on the deal. He had told me that he would come outside and discuss it further but he didn’t, wasn’t even returning my calls. He had offered me compensation for my gas (which I kindly didn’t take) . However, it’s not the gas I was concerned about, he wasted my time… he could have simply told me his decision before I had told him I was on the way, not once I arrived to make the deal.
I have never left a negative review to an indivial on Gunpost, but I truly felt this one was needed. Overall very disappointing.
Easily the worst transaction I've ever had not just with guns, but any kind of private sale. Doesn't answer texts for days or until you threaten to call the cops. Dude is so sketchy it hurts. The cherry on top is the day of to pick up the gun, being asked multiple times if I want to sell it back to him, that he wants to keep it, being unsure if he can give it to me, then being told he has COVID when you meet him. Took another 30 minutes to get everything together after I showed up after knowing it was going to be picked up for over a month.
Gun was supposed to come with all original parts that were replaced and what came with it, missing all the OEM parts after asking twice the day of, before and during the meet that he had them and would give them to me and was given the wrong palm swells. If I had known this is how things would have went, it doesn't matter how good of a deal it was, I would've steered well clear.
Avoid him. Not at all worth the hassle or headache that comes with whatever he's selling. Quick to respond at first, a little squirrely, but total silence after he has your money.
