This is a follow up review..The mec 9000 reloader I bought was unpacked and looked over but not reassembled. I left my original review based on that. Yesterday I set up the mec 9000 and right away there were several problmatic issues. The carrier plate doesn't advance smoothly..it jumps and jerks upon handle activation...thusly it will not feed a primer into the priming stage..it blows past it and becomes lodged under the plate..sideways. The carrier plate advancement bar linkage (underneath) comes apart on every second or third pull of the handle(( which is broken and split in 2 places))
I sent I sent a pm to Keith inquiring about the issues..his response was "you didn't ask so talk to Mec. You bought a whole mec 9000 and that's what you got" !!!! He said he was in contact with mec and knew of these problems and that the carrier advancement bar was no good. Yet neverentioned it to me in our emails and pms. Shows me what kind of guy he really is. First time leaving review like this. All because of dealing with a calous and ignorant individual. Wish I could take down my first review but I can't. I saved all our communications if anyone needs proof.IF HE GETS THE CHANCE TO DO YOU...HE WILL. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS GUY !!!!!
