Bought a Cooey Model 60 from Rick and I am very pleased with it. It functions just as Rick had said it would. It’s in great condition as described and was packaged very well and sent in a timely manner.
Bought a Cooey 840 off of Rick. Was listed as excellent condition.
Stock had been restained with stain slopped all over every other component of the gun. Tang had a crack. Butt plate had a chip in the toe. Forearm spacer was cracked. Trigger guard was loose with screw head stripped out.
I contacted Rick and he offered to replace the buttplate and forearm spacer. I'll give him credit there. However gun is still worth less then half of what I paid for it.
I bought an 'excellent' condition firearm and feel very mislead. That sums it up.
Was packaged well though and shipped in a timely fashion.
Just purchased a Win 94 in 32 special. Rick was straightforward and easy to deal with, shipping was quick and rifle exceeded my expectations. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with Rick in the future. Joe MacDonald
