I bought two scopes from immkl. I made an offer, he accepted, I promptly paid, he shipped them out. Everything went well except the ad for one said "immaculate condition" when in reality it had light ring marks. Normally that's no big deal and is to be expected on a used scope, but when the seller says "immaculate" you expect it to mean without blemish. The scope in question came with rings on it but the marks were twice as wide as the rings and clearly visible even with them installed. When I texted and mentioned that this is not what immaculate means, he did not reply.
In the end I got two nice scopes for a good price and this is just a minor cosmetic issue, so I still rated 5/5. Nevertheless, if I can't trust a seller's description of cosmetic condition, how can I trust when he says that something works properly? Hopefully I won't find problems when sighting in and using either one.
