I purchased a yellow boy 1866 from the seller. He advertised the gun and BRAND NEW and UNFIRED. I wanted to add it to my Collection. When it arrived it saw the gun is well used. Smells of powder and has chips missing out of the brass and lots of scratches.
When I emailed him to let him know I wasn’t happy with the condition he said “the factory used the gun before sending it to stores” basically saying the factory used it many times and caused all the damages (which is BS) Then he blocked me and deleted the ad.
I paid $1700 for this gun based solely on the fact that it was brand new and never fired. If I wanted a used one I could have gotten one for $600…. Really disappointing!
always ask for a full video of the gun and don’t be shy to ask for extra pictures! Tilting the gun on an angle can hide lots of imperfections
