Purchased a 410 bolt-action from him a while back. Arrived in excellent condition well packed and in perfect working order. The gun stock was very clean and newly refinished worth every dollar. If he has something you're interested in, buy it from him.

I purchased a Marlin 336C from Renee a few months ago. The ad consisted of one photo and the description was short and stated "when its this close to perfect, what more needs to be said". I thought that sounded good so I purchased it. He did a great job of packaging and the shipping was in a timely manner. For that i award two stars but, the gun was far from perfect. The fitment of the buttstock was horrible and the forestock was loose, the bluing on the barrel was fairly unattractive as well. Overall the rifle was far too ugly to allow fellow shooters to examine it and the end result was that I had to sell it and buy a new 336Y that I can feel good about owning each time I use it. If that is someones definition of "close to perfect" I would be frightened to see what a "good" condition rifle may look like.
