He made me 2 custom deep brown holsters, a Johnny Ringo style holster for my 7.5 inch 44 Mag Ruger Vaquero and a holster for my 44 Mag Desert Eagle. Holsters are top quality and in-lined. The leather work is top notch, he is friendly to deal with and very thorough in his meticulous attention to detail making sure he provides 110% customer satisfaction. The leather work is incredibly talented! A+++ Thanks again!
Just received the latest holster Rick made for me, a custom job for a modified Beretta 92. I showed him a picture of something similar to what I wanted, we discussed the details and options, and he took it from there. Once again, more than just being satisfied with it, I was amazed to see it turned out even better than I had pictured. It was a bit of a tricky job, and I especially appreciated that he took the time to meet before putting the final touches on to ensure everything was just right. I also can't say enough about the value - far better quality and craftsmanship than a similar factory item, but at a very competitive price.
Highly recommend getting your leather work done with Rick. Excellent quality and craftsmanship. A pleasure to deal with. The holster and belt i ordered from him are exactly what i was hoping for. Won't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Just received the scabbard for my Winchester 1897. Absolutely beautiful construction and looks beautiful. Terrific value considering the extremely high quality.
Rick is amazing guy I saw a rig he had posted online and asked about modification to that particular rig. He clearly takes pride in his work as instead he built me two custom rigs that better suited my needs. His work is certainly something to be proud of! Amazing craftsmanship, great guy to talk to everything was done clearly and concisely. The whole order arrived quickly and was packed really well. I will admit to enjoying his product so much that my girlfriend caught me strapping on the rig in my pjs before bed hahaha
Just received my second holster made by The Old97, and couldn't be more pleased. Sent him some photos and had a conversation about what I had in mind, and he executed it perfectly - it was even better than what I imagined. Fits great, functions great, and looks great - what more can you ask for? As a bonus, he is also a prompt and effective communicator, and gets the work done in a very reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended.

Got a custom gunbelt & holsters made for my two S&W Schofield No. 3's (7" & 5" models). Looks perfect, quality leather work. Results were beyond my expectations. Fits the guns perfectly, even though he did not have the pistols when he made the holsters. Am very happy with it. Was done in less than a week. Much better work than other gunbelts & holsters I have bought online from USA.
We are now talking about my next order. Might be a scabbard for my Bowie knife, or maybe another gunbelt.
Excellent quality leather work. Inquired about getting a sling made and was delivered to me in less than a week. Product was way above my expectations. Will order from him again
