Jacob Dickert flintlock mechanism

This is a flintlock mechanism off of a charleville-inspired musket I built years ago; the gun itself is just a display piece as the barrel is a a simple dom tube, but the lock is in perfect condition and ready to go on a new musket or rifle. It has been roughly polished bright and finished with oil; it has been drilled and tapped for two 8-32 lock bolts.

This right-handed lock has never been used to fire a rifle, but it functions as new and sparks well with a 3/4" flint. Originally purchased from Track of the Wolf, there is no rust or corrosion visible. Spare parts and flints can be ordered from Track.; this is perfect for anyone building a new flinter!

Manufactured by L&R Lock Company. Can be used with simple pinned, or set triggers. Very similar so a classic "Siler" lock. I have used Jacob Dickert locks on three other hunting rifles with great success.

These retail new at about 350$ canadian before taxes and shipping. No PAL required for flintock rifles as they are classified as antiques. I have included a photo of the display piece the lock came off of; I am happy to sell it along with the lock if desired. Message me in interested.
