ZEISS is known for its innovative reticle development, offering illuminated and non-illuminated options to meet various hunting and shooting needs. Illuminated reticles come in two types: one with a bright dot for daytime and twilight use, ideal for quick target acquisition, and another with dimmable dots for optimal adjustment in low light, preventing target obscuration. Non-illuminated reticles are versatile and precise, suitable for good light conditions and offering advantages for competitive shooters with fine crosshairs that minimally obscure the target. They also aid in range estimation, providing valuable distance information through scales on the crosshairs.

The ZEISS ZBR ballistic reticle is located in the second image plane and has a subtension of 2 MOA (ZBR-2) between the tick marks at the respective riflescope’s reference magnification. The tick marks extend in the shape of a Christmas tree over the lower half of the field of view. As such, they are suitable for quickly and simultaneously compensating for bullet drop and correcting wind drift. The ZEISS Hunting app can be used to quickly and precisely determine both values for practically any ammunition, and also displays the distance values in a visual depiction of the reticle. The ZEISS Conquest V4 riflescopes deliver rugged, high-performance optics with versatile zoom, precise mechanics, and optional ballistic features for all hunting needs.
