Reloading Presses

BAIR 600, the predecessor to Pacific Or Hornady 366.  12 gauge progressive shotshell reloader, that has 5 stations.

TWO identical presses sold as a pair.   set them up for two different hulls, or use one as a backup / spare parts rig.

Most parts are easily sourced from hornady / pacific 366.  Bushings are compatible with any brand (i.e. MEC powder bushing using an incadapter, or RCBS, or Possness Warren...).   Connect with me if you only want one. I can show a video if you need, or come take a look.

Press #1 (with silver top):

Fully functional, thoroughly cleaned and lubed, tuned,  ready to start, with everything you need:

  • Resizing station with deprime
  • Depriming only station with primer catcher tray
  • Primer feeder, primer tube,  with fully functional and tuned primer drop
  • Priming station is adjustsble
  • Powder bushing adapter (to accept MEC bushings - easy to find on sale)
  • One powder and one shot bushing
  • Modified shot hopper which is stronger than OEM
  • Modified powder bushing
  • Original hopper caps and baffles
  • powder and shot washer + powder and shot funnels
  • Swing out wad feeder (an awesome feature) with wad fingers, and wad/powder compression gauge
  • Crimp starter station
  • Crimping station
  • Indexed shell plate made of thick steel (thicker than the new hornady 366)
  • Powder and shot plate disconnects and tilts so you can swap bushings or empty the hopper easily.
  • Small LED light

This first one is / was my primary 12g reloader.

Press #2 (with blue top):

identical model, but not yet used or cleaned.  Functions fine.  Last  picture.  Includes:

  • Resizing station with deprime
  • Depriming only station with primer catcher tray
  • Primer feeder cracked (parts only).  No Primer tube.  functional  primer drop but not tuned.
  • Priming station is adjustsble and works
  • No powder or shot bushing (but you can get from many brands)
  • No shot or powder hopper
  • Powder and shot funnels
  • No powder or shot washer (easily found at plumbing stores)
  • Original one hopper cap
  • Swing out wad feeder with wad fingers, and wad/powder compression gauge. Just needs to be tuned as spring is warped but still usable
  • Crimp starter and crimpimg station
  • Indexed shell plate made of thick steel that turns like butter and is well indexed
  • Functioning top latch to tilt

Note that a basic and new non progressive press from MEC will cost more.  This one does soo much more and you have one as spare that you can also build up like I did or keep for parts.
