Crosman Mark 1 .22

The seal is pooched. It held gas long enough for me to be able to determine that THE ACTION DIES FUNCTION. Comes in it's original box with Canadian Tire price stickers still attached, all the instuctions and warranty paper, and a bag of pellets. This is a very early "Pre-Serial" model (1966 – Early 1967) Crosman first launched the Mark One in 1966. Serial numbers were introduced for warranty tracking, and it wasn't until the Gun Control Act of 1968 and later corporate changes that serialization became permanent. This Mark One belongs to the first year and a half of production,1966 to early 1967. Because it's an early pre-serial model, it reads:

Crosman Arms Co., Inc. Fairport, N.Y.

the metal is completely clean and smooth and it carries that Fairport address alongside the "PAT. PEND." text, it is an un-serialized, first-year-of-production First Variant built right at the launch of the series.
