Left to right All blades are made from farrier files and are heated, beaten and treated, large blades are about half a rasp drawn out. Sheaths are recycled saddle leather, and I hate making them, too time consuming, but they are what I would expect to last the lifetime of the blade, just how I do things. This is a hobby so my office work does not drive me crazy so I don't do requests but if interested in something that is gone let me know I have a list to contact for first dibs. Like everything these days, scales etc are much harder to get, and you have to pay accordingly. I make these to use not sit in a drawer and have been doing this about 10 years and cover material and very little time at the price.
1.A heavy blade for a heavy job. Book matched, African blackwood 98% positive (or ebony, came out of an unmarked box of wood) Mosiac pins, one flawed, 5" ish blade with a heavy bowie tip. This one is a handful and made for hunting. Sheath has a belt loop$200. This one needs a trip on the buffer before shipping
2.Finer more quick blade that has been acid etched with book matched Redheart scales. 5"ish blade that is hair popping sharp. Brass pins Sheath does NOT have a belt loop but I will throw in a steel clip and screws similar to the last sheath if you want $200
3. A small pocket blade and I use a similar one deer hunting and have no problem skinning and boning a critter and might have to touch it on a steel once. This one has been on my bench for testing the last few months so lightly used. I do that once in a while for my QC. Small 3ish inch blade that is hair popping sharp. They always get better with time and use. Zebra wood scales with a Purpleheart inserts. Brass pins Sheath has no loop as it will fit a pocket perfectly $110
4. Unfortunately GONE these ones don't last. Genuine Newfoundland moose antler salvaged from a cleanup pile while on vacation and have little to none left. Bigger 5" blade with a solid bowie tip. Sheath is a deep pocket/behind the belt design. brass pins. Sold before the sheath was made
Any questions feel free. hardened to 58-59 RH. Will trade silver. Shipping probably flat rate box which I will split 50/50. this steel will not disappoint CARBON STEEL NEEDS TO BE MAINTAINED/OILED AND NOT STORED LONG TERM IN SHEATH WITHOUT A WIPE OF OIL. LEATHER IS VEG TANNED
