Mechanics
Single action mechanism runs through all 4 clicks to 5 positions crisp and clean, exactly as it should even after over a century. Cylinder lockup is tight with no play, and the ejector rod and action function flawlessly as intended. Barrel measures 4 3/4" with a fair bore - rifling defined but has some evidence of wear.

Visuals
Excellent condition throughout, with high polish refinish dusky blued hues across the majority of the metal surfaces. There are no significant marring, scratches, other marks on this revolver which is overall a mint-like example other than the bore. All markings are crisp and fully legible: patent dates, matching serial numbers, barrel address, caliber stamp, and the rampant Colt emblem all present and sharp. Grips are genuine stag antler in phenomenal condition, showing rich, deep hues and excellent natural texture.
