Remington double derringer first series

Manufactured between 1866 and 1868 without extractor. I thought about having it cleaned, but the metal is almost entirely untouched by rust or pitting. 

Patina earned and preserved. 

Bore is only fair, no deep pitting. Rifling is still evidnt despite moderate BP wear. 5/10

Action functions very well. Firing pin reciprocates like it should. Springs are very strong.

This is one of the less common models made in the years immediately following the civil war. Collector piece in very good condition.
