For sale is a Belgian copy of a S&W New Model 3 chambered in 44 Russian. I was planning to restore this but believe it or not, having multiple kids doesn’t give you more free time.
To be fully transparent, this could be a fair bit of work. Here’s a list of everything needing work: top latch is loose, bottom hinge pin has a slight bit of play in it. Extractor works but needs to be wiggled one way for it to snap back into place when fully extended. The center cylinder pin needs working with a shim or new spring to keep the cylinder centered properly. Side plate has some play. And lastly, timing needs a bit of work: mostly just the cylinder stop/bolt on the bottom.
If all of these issues are fixed, this would make a very nice shooter. I had some 3 inch groups at 15 yards with 3.5gr trailboss behind a 200gr Lee RNFP.
Extra Details: original 6 1/2” barrel was cut down to 4 3/4” and trigger spur was cut off what looks to be a long time ago
