This gun was pictured in the German Gun Collectors Association's journal as part of an article on the Beuttenmueller family. Engraved on the lock F. Beuttenmueller/ Joliet. Ill. The hunting rifle is in excellent condition featuring a cap box in the rear stock. Fore end trim made of German silver. Beautiful walnut checkered stock. Front & rear buckhorn sights. All furniture has been highly polished. 341/2 inch smooth bore barrel-.68 cal. Hammer head resembles a “Dragon Head” This is all ready for the hunting season. Asking $895 Plus shipping.
