I'm positing up my pattern 1839 british musket. It's. 75 cal and an ordinance barrel, somewhere in history it got a lock and stock update. But the barrel stamps tell me she was once a flint barrel. The brits converted most brown bess to percussion and this one was one forsure.
I have fired 2 shots out of it, in the video provided from my youtube channel. The nipple on it works but could use a better fitting one. But she does look good up in the rack!
I'm asking $950 for it. Might throw in a tin of musket caps to whoever makes the first reasonable offer.
Will consider trade for $550 + p1906 bayonet for lee enfield no1 mk3
This is a beautiful piece of history.
