James Rock Cooper & Company. Circa 1840 of Park Cottage, Aston England (small village outside Birmingham) produced a high end percussion pistol.670 bore x 8.0 lg. Damascus barrel is an octagon for full length and shows fine winding. Back lock functions well. Nipple is in good shape & can be removed for cleaning Full rear sights. Furniture is all highly engraved. Overall size approx. 14 inches.
