These carbines were used in both world wars by Japan
Caliber 6.5 Arisaka
This carbine came in a batch of Russian contract rifles (600,000 Arisakas were sold to Russian Empire and used in WW1, the civil war, and WW2). It is not marked as such, but has an earlier serial number than other carbines with Finnish markings.
Bore is either very dirty or worn. I haven't cleaned it yet.
