This was the standard Polish infantry rifle of the interwar period.
Serial number crossed out and different number restamped, but the crossed out number is also on the barrel. "PW" Polish Army stamp on the stock. Handguard and stock are not numbered.
The bolt and floorplate are from a German Mauser.
I have shot this - works fine, but the trigger pull is quite light.
