Unissued and still heavily coated in comsomline, the Yugoslavian Yugo SKS, is known for its integrated grenade launcher attachment which is permanently attached to the barrel and also functions as a muzzle brake. This launcher uses a blank cartridge and a special rifle grenade to project the projectile, and the rifle's gas system can be shut off to direct all gas forward to propel the grenade.
