Izevsk arsenal 1925 Dragoon Mosin-Nagant rifle. All numbers match except the stock butt plate. However the butt plate contains pre 1928 Izevsk arsenal logo.

As for probably all military Dragoon rifles both sights had been replaced with 91/30 type.

Bluing is good. I don't see any rust. Bore is clean. Rifling is good. NOT counterbored. Bore is shiny except small area next to the muzzle (or maybe I just didn't put enough effort to clean that couple of inches).

Stock is not original to the gun, however it is genuine pre WW2 stock. Based on markings the stock had been produced by Izevsk arsenal in 1930-1931. So most probably the stock had been replaced when the rifle was upgraded to 91/30 specs.

Also it seems the rifle had been factory repaired(stock front part)/refurbished after WW2. Probably at that time grooves (cutouts) for rear barrel bands were added and the stock was refinished. As result the original markings were sanded out (but still visible).

All parts except cleaning rod bearing Izevsk logo. Either pre or post 1928. Which is expected considering upgrade and refurbishment. The cleaning rod is unmarked.

It shoots well, the bolt is quite smooth. Dragoon rifles were sighted with attached bayonet. And it seems this particular one was never re-sighted.

Russian military sling is included. According to stamps on dog collars, the sling made in 1952 in Krasnodar, which is correct location. There was a factory in that city that produced slings for Mosin-Nagant, SKS and AK. And the sling itself looks old. But I am not an expert in slings so can't say much more about it.

I would prefer local transaction but can ship on buyer's dime.

And you need a valid PAL to buy it.
