SPF a Savage 219-B in good condition. This rifle shoots very well, makes 3 shot cloverleafs @ 100 yds with factory Win 45 grn sp ammo. best handload 12.grn AA1680 behind a 45 grn sp produced a 10 shot group @ 100 yds you could cover with a dime (using a lead sled as a rest).
26" barrel has had some mild external rust pitting & freckling blued over (hard to see in photos). bore is in very good condition. sights removed, front sight holes & rear dovetail plugged. front sling band installed. receiver finish shows decent color case hardening. trigger has a over travel stop installed.
Stock has no cracks but had a minor splinter repaired where it meets the receiver and was refinished (25 years ago). LOP is 13 3/8". rear sling stud installed. has only very minor handling marks since I did the refinish. 1" scope rings are old Redfields and worked perfect for the 40m objective scope I was using. comes with spare firing pin.
Only selling because I acquired a nicer rifle in the same caliber that produces similar results.
