Early-production K98k manufactured by Berlin-Lübecker Maschinenfabriken (BLM), marked S/237 / 1937, chambered in 7.92×57mm Mauser.
Serial 7494. Matching bolt, stock, floorplate and later German cupped buttplate. Firing pin is force-matched. Rear sight and front band retaining spring are mismatched. Upper handguard has no visible number.
The matching cupped buttplate carries German acceptance markings and is consistent with a wartime arsenal repair/upgrade.
Also marked G1 / Crossed Swords / 55, indicating Czechoslovak military acceptance/inspection in 1955.
Metal is in very good overall condition with some localized pitting. Barrel exterior is exceptionally clean. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
Stock is in very good condition with a small, stable age-related crack underneath.
Numerous original German inspection and acceptance markings remain throughout.
