Here is a Canadian-produced Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk I* rifle, manufactured at Long Branch in 1945. This rifle has been sporterized, yet remains in remarkably good condition with a clean bore and matching bolt.

- Blade front sight on ramp, with adjustable stamped rear peep sight (battle sight modified).
- Two-piece sporterized wood stock, showing only minor wear from handling, with some cracking at the forend and light chipping on the forearm.
- Pistol grip configuration with a replaced black rubber recoil pad, neatly fitted with a brown lace-on leather cover.
- Swivel studs fitted for sling use.
- Metal retains a solid blued finish, with only small areas of wear, light freckling, and handling marks appropriate for its age.
Condition:
Overall, this rifle is in very good condition for its type. The wood presents strong grain with honest wear, while the metal finish remains clean and well-preserved. The bore is bright with defined rifling, making this both a collectible Canadian Long Branch and a capable shooter.
